Sarah helps you reconnect to your natural rhythms—restoring energy, sleep, and vitality the way nature intended.

Your rhythm

starts here

Do any of these feel familiar?

  • You’re a busy mom or mom-to-be, struggling to find real nourishment, deep sleep, and steady energy in a world that feels out of sync.

  • You feel disconnected from the natural cycles of light, food, and rest—and it’s taking a toll on your health.

  • You’re dealing with gut issues, energy crashes, poor sleep, or hormonal imbalance, and you’re curious about ancestral and circadian-aligned living.

At Black Walnut Wellness, I help women and families reconnect to their biological rhythms—through light, food, movement, and rest—so healing becomes inevitable, not elusive.

Together, we’ll rebuild your foundation, in step with the rhythms your body already knows.

Hi, I’m

Sarah Westlind

I’m a Circadian and Chrononutrition Coach and the founder of Black Walnut Wellness. I help women and families rebuild energy, sleep, and vitality by returning to the rhythms written into our biology—and forgotten by modern life.

After struggling with my own health—gut issues, exhaustion, disconnection—I realized that the solution wasn’t adding more noise. It was coming back to nature’s cycles: sunrise and sunset, seasonal eating, ancestral nourishment, movement in tune with the earth.

I believe true health isn’t built by chasing symptoms.
It’s built by remembering rhythm.
And it’s my honor to walk beside you as you reclaim yours.

Together, we’ll rebuild your relationship to light, food, movement, and rest—layer by layer—until health becomes a natural consequence of how you live, not something you chase.
We'll work with your biology, not against it.
We'll reconnect you to the seasons, the earth, and yourself.
And we'll create a rhythm that's sustainable, rooted, and real.

If you're ready to move from survival mode to true vitality, let's start this journey together.

Ever climbing,

Sarah

The philosophy of lagom

The philosophy of lagom—moderation, balance, enoughness—is the heartbeat of Black Walnut Wellness.
Growing up in Sweden, I learned early that health isn’t forced. It’s lived. It’s walking outside in the sunlight. It’s eating what the seasons provide. It’s balancing work and rest, effort and ease.

That same ancestral wisdom lives in the rhythm of the sun, the cycles of the seasons, and the foods nature gives us when we listen.

At Black Walnut Wellness, we come back to this balance—not by adding more, but by remembering what was already there.

Significance of the Black Walnut

The black walnut tree has always symbolized strength, resilience, and transformation.

In folklore, encountering a walnut tree meant you were standing at a threshold—a time to shed what no longer served you and step into who you were meant to become.

It takes strength to crack open the walnut’s shell. But inside lies nourishment—rich, dense, vital. The same is true for healing. It isn’t easy. But inside the work is the reward: resilience, energy, vitality.

At Black Walnut Wellness, the walnut reminds us that health is not something you chase or force. It’s something you uncover, once you’re willing to come back into rhythm with yourself.
